The article also displayed two pictures of Philippine scripts; a sample of modern Hanunuo writing from Mindoro, and an inverted picture of a document made of bamboo strips in the same Visayan baybayin script that appeared in Pedro Paterno's Cuadro Paleografico de las Islas Filipinas in 1892(?).
