The National Adult Literacy Database Inc. (NALD) is a federally incorporated, non-profit service organization which fills the crucial need for a single-source, comprehensive, up-to-date and easily accessible database of adult literacy programs, resources, services and activities across Canada. It also links with other services and databases in North America and overseas.

AskERIC is a personalized Internet-based service providing education information to teachers, librarians, counselors, administrators, parents, and others throughout the United States and the World. It began in 1992 as a project of the ERIC Clearinghouse on Information & Technology at Syracuse University. AskERIC is a Sun SITE repository, which enables it to expand the quality and quantity of its resources and services to the education community.
