SimTower How To 5

This page contains instructions on how to build a tower similar to the PM_Grand. It is a happy, no-cheat tower.

Part 5 - 90 to 100

1. Add a 90 Express or Elevator L, dead center in the middle of the tower, going from the Main floor to 90, with 3 cars on 1 & 5 cars on 90. Be sure to change the Departure Wait to 30 twelve times.
2. Pull up the Parking Express Right or Elevator M to 90. Turn off 75. Parking Express Right or Elevator M should only stop on B-5, B-4, B-3, 30, 60 & 90 with 2 cars on 30, 3 cars on 60 and 3 cars on 90. Parking Express Left or Elevator K should only stop on B-5, B-4, B-3, 15, 45 & 75 with 4 cars on 45, and 4 cars on 75.
3. Add a 90 Right or Elevator W local elevator positioned 1 condo to the left of 75 Right or Elevator V going from 90 to 100 with 2 cars on 90, 2 cars on 95, 2 cars on 97 and 2 cars on 100. Similarly, add a 90 Left or Elevator H local elevator positioned 1 condo to the right of 75 Left or Elevator G.
4. Using the Blank Wall tool, add room to the outside of 90 Right or Elevator W and 90 Left or Elevator H so that you can put in 4 escalators from 90 up to 94 on both sides. Turn off 91 to 94 on both elevators
5. On 90, put in 1 Hall on each side and a medical center on the right side. Add 3 Fast Food on the right side & 4 Fast Food on the left side. Put in the SkyLobby.
6. On 91, put in 2 Restaurants, 9 Fast Foods and 4 Shops.
7. On 92, starting at the middle of the tower (90 Express or Elevator L), put in 13 offices on each side. That's it for this floor; do not add security. (The maximum of 10 has already been put in.)
8. On 93 & 94, put in 26 Offices.
9. On 95, starting at the middle, put in 7 Condo on each side.
10. On 96, put 1 housekeeping right in the middle, and then add 9 suites on each side.
11. On 97, starting at the middle, put in 6 Condo on each side.
12. On 98, put 1 housekeeping right in the middle, and then add 8 suites on each side.
13. On 99, starting at the middle, put in 5 Condo on each side
14. On 100, put in the Cathedral, right in the center. Add 5 offices on each side.
15. If your population is over 15,000 which it should be, and if everybody is happy which they should be, you will go to Tower Level on the next WE morning.

    

I hope you enjoyed making this tower and learned some of the ways to make your tower happy without cheating. Now that you know that a Tower can be made without cheating, you should be able to design and build your own tower.
