page contains instructions on how to build a tower similar to the PM_Grand. It
is a happy, no-cheat tower.
Part 4 - Metro Station &
Basement
Population Info
The
population of your tower should be well over 10,000 so that you should go to
5-Stars right after you put your Metro Station in.

##Population of the FastFoods (10 AM), Shops (10 AM) and Restaurants (5 PM) varies from day to day depending
on the number of customers on the previous day. This change occurs when the place
opens (at the indicated time). The high & lo populations shown above were
based on a 1 year trial on this tower.
** Hotel Population normally fluctuates starting at 0 between noon & 5 PM. At 5PM until Midnight at the
latest, guests check in & the pop rises to the max. At 7 AM, the guests
start checking out & by noon the hotel pop should be zero. I think that
whenever you have a bomb scare or a fire, any hotel guests that are in the
tower forget to check out in their "panic" to leave the building.
This leaves you with a "permanent" hotel population (that doesn't use
any rooms.) My pop total includes 262 "permanent" guests. [Occasionally in this tower, the maids could leave 1
dirty hotel room on a floor; therefore the room would not rent that night.]
Onward toward 5 Stars
- Put in 3 escalators on the Main floor down to B-3, just to the
left of Elevator 1 Left or Elevator B.
Put in only 2 escalators just to the right of 1 Right or Elevator Q down to B-2.
- Between 45 Express Right or
Elevator O and 1 Right or Elevator Q put in an Express Elevator
on the main floor. Call this Basement Express or
Elevator P. Drag it down to B-9. Have 4 cars on the Main Floor & 4
cars on B-9. Turn off B-1, B-2, B-3, B-4 & B-5. (If you had a tower with Offices or Hotels between 1 and 15, you would
have to leave B-4 & B-5 turned on. The Offices and Hotel Suites need access
to Parking & the Offices also need access to the Medical Center in the
Basement.)
- On B-1, on the right side of the Parking Ramps, put in 2 Restaurants,
have the 1 restaurant beside the Parking Ramps and the other at the edge of the
tower. Add 2 Fast Foods and 6 Shops. Repeat this on the left side of the
Parking Ramps.
- On B-2, repeat instruction # 3.
- On B-3, repeat instruction #3 on the left side of the Ramps
only. On the right side of the ramps, put in all Parking Spaces. Turn on B-3 in
both parking elevators.
- Add 2 Recycling Centers beside the
first 10. Total now 12.
On B-7 (& B-6), put in a hall beside the top right Recycling Center. (Leave a gap of 2 "pixels" between the
Recycling Center & the Hall.) Add 10 shops beside the Hall on B-6
and another 10 on B-7. Add another Hall on B-7 (& B-6).
- On B-8 and on B-9, right next to the Recycling center (no
space), put in 1 restaurant, 1 Fast Food & 3 Shops on each floor. Now put
in the Metro Station next to the Shops. The Metro will go on B-8, B-9 &
B10. There must be nothing at all on B-10 because that turns into
the Subway Tunnel. On B-8 and on B-9, beside the Metro, put in 2
more Shops, 1 Fast Food and 1 Restaurant on each floor.
- Everything that you just put in on B-8 (except the Metro) can
also be put in on B-9
- You should go to 5 Stars right away.
