Sim Tower Patch 1.1
It is
impossible to figure out what version of SimTower that you are using,
since the About box always says Version 1.0.
The original version is 1.0. There is a patch to convert the original version (1.0) to version 1.1
Use this patch (from Maxim) at your own risk.
When I tried to run this patch , it
did not change my SimTower.exe file.
The message said: "Old file was not found. File of same name was found,
but the contents did not match."
I assume that I already have version 1.1
The SimTower file that I use is 6,359 kb (6,511,104 bytes) and is dated
95-08-09 or 95-08-12.
The date of the 'installed' file is different than the date of the file on the
CD. They both work the same.
If you download a tower from my pages
and you can't open it because it says you Need a newer version,
then I assume that you need this patch.
