Osborne Village Canada Day Street Festival

This year, Osborne Village will come alive for two full days, with the street closing in the early morning of June 30th and all day July 1st. Over the course of Winnipeg’s largest and longest running Canada Day Street Festival (with some assistance from Mother Nature), we'll see 75,000+ people on our festival site.

Entertainment

This year, we'll be having three live outdoor entertainment venues:

• the TD World Stage – Stradbrook @ Osborne St.
• the Music Trader Indie-Stage (featuring local independent artists) at 97 Osborne St.
• a live stage at Gas Station Theatre.

Artisans' Market

Along with street sales by many Osborne Village merchants, there will again be an Artisans' Market located in front of 166 Osborne Street that will feature over 25 different artisans offering unique jewelry, clothing, handmade giftware and crafts from North America, Africa, Europe and Asia.

The restaurants of Osborne Village will be augmented by street food vendors offering cuisine to please all palates, from fast food to fine dining with food from six continents. If there were Antarctic cuisine, we'd have that too.

Children’s Activities

Activities for Children will be present throughout the street festival, from giant inflatable bounce structures, crafts, face painting, puppet shows, balloon animals and storytelling, to a day of children’s programming sponsored by Augustine United Church.

Community Display Booths

As in past years, numerous local community groups will set up display/information tables throughout the festival site.
