We lost our first game of the season by 53 runs to Nexgen C.C. We'd like to thank Nexgen for a good game, where they batted really well, and their fielding was superb. Unfortunately we need to make big improvements with our batting and running between wickets.
Most of the outs we encountered were through run outs.
We should still stay positive. We haven't lost anything, instead gained better experience playing against a good team like Nexgen, who have helped us realize our flaws at the beginning. Having more practice, we will be used to playing as a unit.
Good luck to B.C.C. against Ramblers.

Due to the lack of participation in the Brandon League, with many members not showing up for their games, or people coming late, the tournament has been cancelled. Instead 9-10 Brandon players have become interested in joining the Manitoba League, which consists of 11 teams. Only the sincere, committed players will be given the opportunity to participate in the MCA League. An additional $20 will be charged per person, for participating in the MCA League, which will be paid to the Manitoba Cricket Association.
Let's start off our season in a winning start!
*Note, the players who will not be playing in the MCA League, may still come to the practices and enjoy some cricket.
