Welcome!

This site covers two topics of interest to me: GIF animation and computer security. Making animated GIF images is fun, the computer security issue is serious. I hope you'll take time to look at both topics while you're here.

When it comes to making animated GIF images, my top choice for software is Ulead® GIF Animator 5. Simple yet very powerful. You will find a pretty complete introduction to it's use here in the Tutorials section. For those new to animation, there's a tutorial on Animation Basics there too. Other graphics software I use includes Ulead's GIF-X Plugin 2.0, COOL 3D 3.5 and PS, PhotoImpact XL and PhotoImpact 12; Jasc® Paint Shop Pro 7 and Animation Shop 3; Adobe® Photoshop® 5.5 and CS2; and IrfanView Freeware Viewer. Plus a lot of varied plug-ins!

As for computer security, if your computer is connected to the internet, then you should visit my PC Security page. Since you're here at my website, you must be on the internet - so don't forget to visit that page, too! The internet isn't as safe as most think.
