The MidWest Arts Council and the Heritage Arts Centre function through the generous help of many volunteers. In addition to the Board of Directors, other volunteers help with several committees:

Exhibitions Committee

The Exhibitions Committee handles gallery bookings for the HAC. Their energetic and faithful involvement insures a great year of displays.

Workshop Committee

The Workshop Committee both plans and helps with teaching the workshops offered by MWAC.

Building Committee

The Building Committee keeps track of building repairs and continual upgrades.

Dance Committee

The MidWest School of Dance is run by volunteers who make a great commitment of time and energy to the region's children.

Public Events

The Public Events committee books concerts and children's events that enrich, entertain and educate. Past bookings have included the Strathclair Theatre Chorus, Prairie Theatre Exchange's presentation of Puppet Munsch, attended by seven local schools, and other concert bookings in connection with wider community events and functions.
