The Heritage Chamber Players consist of Joan Dillon of the Netherlands, Irene Todd of Kenton, and Linda Conner of Hamiota.
Joan Dillon is a dedicated Hamiota native who has retained a strong commitment to her home community. She first studied with Elman Lowe, then with Alex Whyte, and played in the Rivers Orchestra. She was a student of Dr. Francis Chaplin at Brandon University. She now lives in Enschede, Holland, where she is assistant concertmaster of the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra and a member of the Valerius Ensemble.
Irene Todd, a resident of the Kenton area, is Resource and band teacher at Hamiota Collegiate. Many local children and teens have benefited from her instruction. A graduate of Sisler High in Winnipeg, she attended Brandon University for Music Education. She has played in the Steinbach Community Orchestra, conducted the Brandon Community Orchestra from 1994-2002, and taught music in Souris, Strathclair, Kenton, Hamiota and various small schools in the Westman region.

Linda Conner is a pianist and private music teacher who has also provided community kids with hours of personalized instruction. Born in Hamiota and raised in Russell, she has studied with Mary Phillips in Russell, Gordon Mclean in Regina and Lawrence Jones through the Brandon Conservatory. After studies at the University of Lethbridge, Linda returned to rural Manitoba. In addition to being a private instructor, she has worked as a church musician and has long been local accompanist for visiting artists in Hamiota.
