One of the benefits of MTTN membership is that a subscription to the MTTN newsletter is included in the membership. It is a simple forum which helps us keep in contact with each other and helps us be aware of what is happening in regards to Therapeutic Touch within Manitoba. It also allows us a routine way to communicate pertinent information to the whole network.
 
Since the goals of MTTN include supporting communication amongst our members, and providing information about educational events and workshops,   we publish a newsletter 3 times each year. More in keeping with the school year, we have one edition in late August to alert people of upcoming MTTN activities during the fall. The next one is just prior to Christmas and includes information about things that are planned for the January to March period and the third one is usually in late March to advise members of the annual Meeting and activities surrounding it.
 
The newsletter includes:
"        a letter from the chairperson
"        a list of the MTTN executive
"        a list of related websites
"        an update on what MTTN has been up to
"        upcoming events
"        articles submitted by members
"        notices of various workshops submitted by members
 
The newsletter is a forum for the members so the content is varied depending on what submissions are received. The newsletter editor is a member of the MTTN Executive Council.
 
A subscription to the Ontario In Touch Newsletter is also available to MTTN members for an additional fee of $15.00 at the time of our membership renewal (May 1st).
