Harris is a well-known Irish actor who has starred in over 50 films. He is probably best known for his role as John Morgan in A Man Called Horse and the sequels. He has also earned two Academy Award nominations for The Sporting Life and The Field. As well, he is an accomplished singer, having released several albums and received numerous Grammy nominations. He recently starred with James Earl Jones in Cry, the Beloved Country, and will soon be featured in the film The Barber of Siberia with Julia Ormond.
