Mario Adorf portrays Capt. Lukas of the ship Kronos, which is transporting Tørk Hviid and his cohorts to Greenland for what they claim is a mining expedition. But Lukas has his doubts, and the appearance of a strange "cleaning woman" can only complicate matters...
Adorf is one of Germany's best-loved actors, and has starred in an astounding 137 films and made-for-TV movies! He is known as the "King of Mini-Series" in his home country. Last year he co-wrote and starred in a trilogy of German TV movies as the charming detective Joachim Tresko.
