Prince Tyrion

A very popular model, both among collectors of painted minis and advanced miniature painters.  Many painters render the armour with a NMM technique, but instead I tried using 3 different metallics blended together.  I left the base unattached when I took this scan, as it allows for a much better close-up.  The smooth barding provides ample opportunity to add freehand work, and if I paint this model again I intend to attempt something more complex, rather than my usual "wavy/spiky lines."

A great model to try painting if you need to practice painting a lot of very tiny things!
