SHOW

This takes you to the fascinating world of exhibiting pure-bred dogs. Havanese are born show offs and love the opportunity to make an impression, especially in front of an appreciative crowd. Showing can be a potentially expensive pastime especially if you use the services of a professional handler and / or show internationally. You can get a great deal of satisfaction and pleasure from handling your own dog in the show ring. A great little dog; combined with patience, training, experience and practice are the elements that lead to success. Come meet our stars.

Jomarans Little Miss Muffet Always our Special girl "Mitzi" who is willing to try anything and gives it 100% every time. She only shows in the Altered and Veterans class and currently has four Best Altered in Specialty Wins.

Jomaran's Ragamuffin "Rags" started out as our"practice" show dog showing only in the altered class. We found he loved the show ring and also adored children, so he has become a favourite for Juniors. He has earned one Best Altered in Specialty shown by 8 year old Nicholas Bel .

CH Havana's Mimosa.Midnite Medley "Cricket "finished her championship just after her 1st birthday. Some of her special moments include a Best Puppy In Sweeps, a Best Overall in Junior Handling and a Group 2 and Group 4. She has now retired from showing and is now busy in Performance events.

Cricket / RagsAnd for something a little different , we trained Cricket and Rags for Brace. They are very well matched. There is only ½ inch difference in size and their markings are almost identical. They did very well at their debut as a brace as they won Best Brace at the Prairie Toy Association Specialty 2003 and again in 2004. They have also won Best Brace in group at other shows and Best Brace at the Havanese National Specialty 2005. Now that Rags is retired, Cricket and Jinx are training as a brace and so far have won Best Brace at the Southern Alberta Toy Specialty and also at the Havanese National Specialty 2007,

CH. Mimosa's Champagne At Midnite Cricket's son "Dusty" did us proud by finishing his championship at 8 months of age as a Junior Puppy with all majors in just 10 days in the ring. Including 3 Best Opposite, 2 Best Of Breed , one Group 3rd and one Puppy Group.
