Select an URL in any window, then run this script to launch it. The script cleans up the selected text---joins broken lines, removes extraneous characters such as tabs, spaces and greater-than's---then launches the URL in the default browser. Available as a script and an executable program.

Send To Clipboard as Name - An AutoIt v3 Script
This is basically a one-line script: ClipPut($CmdLine[1]).
Purpose: Puts the fully qualified name of any file or folder on Windows Clipboard.
Setup: Save the .EXE file (140 KB) in your Program Files folder. Place a shortcut to it in your SendTo folder, and rename the shortcut Clipboard as name.
Directions: Right-click any file or folder, choose Send To | Clipboard as name, then paste.
Send To Clipboard as Contents - An AutoIt v3 Script
Purpose: Copies the contents of any plain-text file (regardless of its file name extension) to Windows Clipboard.
Setup: Compile the script to an .EXE; save the .EXE in Program Files; place a shortcut to it in your SendTo folder; rename the shortcut Clipboard as contents. Here is an .EXE as requested, for Windows NT, 2000, XP and later (AutoIt v3.2.12.1, 2008-08; added clipboard icon 2009-08-28).
Directions: Right-click a file, choose Send To | Clipboard as contents, and paste.
