New Bedford Whaleboat Serial #018 Completed April, 2005
This whaleboat model was made from
the very good Model Shipways kit. It represents a used, and working
whaleboat on a whaleship such as the Charles W. Morgan. The whale
ship hull section, davits, blocks, etc... were scratchbuilt to
specifications in the book "To Build a Whaleboat" By
AR Ronnberg, Jr. This model was done in between other projects
and is available for purchase.
San Francisco
Serial #001 Completed some time in 1998.
The San Francisco is the first wood
ship I built and unfortunately I've run out of room for it. It
is priced to sell, and includes the display case, plus crating
and shipping in the price.
