Q  How do I add a VST plugin to the layout?
There are several parts to adding a VST plugin to a layout in Bidule:

First, the VST plugins folder must be selected in the Bidule preferences.
Second, the Bidule preferences must be set to sort plugins by Company name or by folder, and by internal name or file name.
Third, locate the plugin and add it to the layout.

To select the folder for VST plugins:

1 Select Edit > Preferences to display the Preferences dialog box.
2 Click the VST Plugins path preference, then click the browse button.

3 Select the folder that contains your VST plugins, then click OK.
4 Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box. Bidule will start scanning for VST plugins.

5 Click OK after the scan has finished to clear any dialog boxes with messages from Bidule. From now on, every VST plugin you copy to the folder you designated will appear in the VST plugins list (after Bidule is restarted or you scan for plugins).
To set Bidule preferences for sorting plugins:

1 Select Edit > Preferences to display the Preferences dialog box.
2 Double-click next to the VST by Company Names preference to change its current value.
