It is high time I write to you again. We have had a very rough year. Our medication has Quadrupled in price. We've had to declare bankruptcy and consequently lost our home. The day before we had to vacate our home, I dislocated my elbow and am still having problems with my arm. I will be seeing a surgeon in May. Hopefully they will be able to straighten the elbow. I tried to get my case recorded as Lyme here in Manitoba but Dr. Greg Hammond decided not to record mine nor my daughter's case. I am now appealing that decision. He is the same one who interfered in 1990.

OUR MOVE

We have now moved to Emerson, Manitoba to my dad’s old home but it needs of a lot of work. The upside is if all goes well we could have the place by the time Lorne retires in August. And as I am now close to where I contracted Lyme, I hope to do some trapping if I can get the Lab to process the mice and ticks.

I‘ve set up a phone line with an answering machine to have people record their Lyme cases with us. We will put ads in all the papers, requesting that people record their Lyme cases by calling us. We will then type up the cases without names and send it to the Minister of Health and the news media. What do you think about these points ?
