At Last - My OWN Corsa Convert

After seeing all the previous nice stuff, you'll be disappointed at the looks of my project. This will eventually be a 1965 Corsa Convertible, 140/4, in Regal Red with White top and Black interior. This is one of 321 (GM Canada numbers) '65 Corsa Converts built in Canada. So far, all the body work has been done and the front and rear suspensions are COMPLETELY rebuilt with sandblasted and powdercoated everything, and all new parts and new Grade 8 fasteners. My move from Edmonton to Winnipeg has slowed things down, and the car is in storage while I finish my new garage.

Here's how it looked when I picked it up. That's everything that can be removed from a 1965 Corvair Convertible, in the back of my overloaded little truck. All the parts were at one location; the body was at another, miles away. For those of you from warmer climates, that white stuff on the ground is "snow". You may have heard about it. This was an extremely pleasant March day in Alberta, just slightly below freezing.

Lots of little bits and parts go into the front suspension; plus a big bag of Grade 8 hardware (not shown here)

Here's what it looks like all screwed together and bolted up under the car where it belongs.
