School and Community Libraries

Joyful students after receiving books and other educational materials. The OCLF gave seed money in 2003 to get the library going.

 

Eager readers check out the library offerings at the school library supported by OCLF. Students visit the library according to the school timetable.

 

Concrete supports for an expanded school library are in place. Funds are now being sought to complete the project.

Ga District Assembly (near Accra)

A dynamic community library is supported by its district assembly, a fundamental element for a successful library. Hawkson (the man in blue), now 87 years old, led the townspeople in establishing the library.
