Vickies Snack Bar first started operation in 1950.  Originally the design and construction, in 1928, by Frank Ehinger, was for Ludwig Pastula.  Through the years it housed a beauty
shop, shoemaker shop, second hand store and finally, an egg grading station
Shortly after the egg grading station, Mrs. Clara Pastula formed a sit down restaurant until 1943.  During Clara's operation, the restaurant was known for her delicious homemade pies and sausage.

In 1950, Clara and Ludwig's daughter, Vickie Mackew (Pastula) opened Vickies Snack Bar (chip stand) and operated the Snack Bar for 34 years.

In January of 1984, Vickie's niece took over the business and since then Denise and her husband, Fred Kazina, have expanded the seating area which can now accommodate 40-45 people.  This plus the take out window service and outside seating area help to serve the community more efficiently.

Fast, friendly service, homemade fries & hamburgers and delicious homemade pies help to accommodate the hungry appetite for good home-cooked food.
