Work

I am a manufacturing engineer at the Winnipeg Division of Boeing.  I have worked on the 707,727, 737, 747, 757, 767 and 777 type aircraft     For the last 5 years I have been working on the 777 strut aft fairing.  The upper left picture show an American Airlines 777 with RR type engines.  Each engine is capable of about 90,000 lbs of thrust, for scale, I am 5" 8".  The other pictures are of an ANA 777 with PW type engine at around 98,000 lbs of thrust.  There is one model of the 777 which uses the GE115 engine that is good for around 115, 000 lbs of thrust.  Magnificent aircraft.
