Formation

Double Circle round the room, men on the inside , facing partner.

Instructions

Note: STCH = Slap your thighs, then clap your hands.

Verse 1:

  • STCH, clap partner's right hand with left, and left with right simultaneously. (2x)
  • STCH, clap partner's right hand, then the left hand.
  • STCH, clap partner's right hand with left, and left with right simultaneously.

Chorus:

  • Going in an anti-clockwise direction,the girls chase the men, both using the Estonian Polka step.
  • Start on right foot moving forward: right together right hop, left together left hop.
  • The man looks alternately over his left and right shoulders 4 times each.
  • The lady alternately shakes her right and left index finger at the man 4 times each.
  • Get back into the original formation.

Verse 2:

  • STCH, clap partner's right hand with left, and left with right simultaneously and at the same time jump ending up with your right foot towards your partner and left foot away from your partner.
  • STCH, clap partner's right hand with left, and left with right simultaneously and at the same time jump ending up with your left foot towards your partner and right foot away from your partner.
  • STCH, clap partner's right hand with left, and left with right simultaneously and at the same time jump ending up with your right foot towards your partner and left foot away from your partner. Then jump ending up with your left foot towards your partner and right foot away from your partner.
  • STCH, clap partner's right hand with left, and left with right simultaneously and at the same time jump ending up with your feet together facing your partner as in the original formation.

Verse 3:

  • STCH, and jump half way round on the spot in a clockwise direction so that you are back to back with your partner.
  • STCH, and jump half way round on the spot in a clockwise direction so that you are facing your partner.
  • STCH, and jump half way round on the spot in a clockwise direction so that you are back to back with your partner,and then jump half way round on the spot in a clockwise direction so that you are facing your partner again.
  • STCH, clap partner's right hand with left, and left with right simultaneously.

  • STCH,lady puts right hand out to offer snuff, man sniffs and holds his breath.
  • STCH,man puts right hand out to offer snuff, lady sniffs and holds her breath.
  • STCH, sneeze to the right,putting hands to the left of your mouth,sneeze to the left, putting hands to the right of your mouth.
  • STCH, clap partner's right hand with left, and left with right simultaneously.

  • STCH, girl hits man's right hand in front of his face (not too close).
