Formation
Double Circle round the room, men on the inside , facing partner, hold
hands with partner, left with right and right with left.
Instructions
- Extend your heel (man's right, lady's left) in a clockwise direction.
Point the same foot to the ground by your other foot. Repeat.
- Take 2 side steps round the circle in a clockwise direction.
- Extend your heel (man's left, lady's right) in an anticlockwise direction.
Point the same foot to the ground by your other foot.Repeat.
- Take 2 side steps round the circle in an anticlockwise direction.
- Let go of partner's hands, and jump backwards 3 times and then clap.
- Walk towards a new partner next to your old partner, on your right (either
2 or 4 steps depending on how far you are apart).
- Face new partner. Slap your thighs, clap your hands, clap new partner's
hands, right with left and left with right.
- Start the dance again.
Notes
The music is conducive to energetic dancing, so if the mood takes
you, then try waving your arms from side to side in part 1 to 4, and
twisting your body from side to side whilst jumping backwards in part
5.
Calling
- Heel toe heel toe side step side step.
- Heel toe heel toe side step side step.
- Jump 2 3 and clap
- Walk to your new partner on your right.
- Thighs. clap, both hands.
