Friends

Friends of the Bluebirds were formed following the death of John Lane. Together, this ever expanding decicated group of volunteers continue the work of providing habitat. These multitudes of nesting boxes, called Bluebird Lines, are found all over southwest Manitoba, Canada, home to both the Mountain and Eastern Bluebird.

Start small - for success

• Start with one Bluebird line to monitor and maintain.
• Keep it fun and interesting. Each and every nesting box is important to providing a safe nesting habitat.

Take Time to Learn More

• Talk to an experienced "Bluebirder".
• Visit the web for interesting sites.
• Utilize one of many resource books written about Bluebirds.
