Immanuel Youth

The Immanuel Lutheran Youth Group is for young people from Grade 7-12. It is a program which combines spiritual growth activities, service opportunities to the church and community, and social and recreational activities. The Youth group generally meets on Saturday or Sunday evenings at 7:00pm. Some events and activities are planned on a Sunday afternoon or during the week as the need arises.

Some of the events planned for this year include Packing Hampers for Christmas Cheer Board, Youth Christmas dinner, Decorate the Christmas tree for church, Christmas caroling, skating/tobogganing, games night, Spiritual Growth, Halloween Night, Youth For Christ Firehall, Tour Funeral home, and Glow Bowling. The Youth also plan to have a guest speaker come in and talk about selected issues facing teens.

For the most part, the spiritual growth activities occur on Sunday Mornings at 9:15 A.M. Topics, studies and videos are on the agenda for the young people to help them learn and grow in their faith.
