The steering rack has been moved from ahead of the "A" arms to behind the "A" arms. This was done to provide more protection to the tie rods and it also allows the steering shaft to fit directly onto the rack without the need for universal joints to adjust for an otherwise forward location. More wheel toe in is also provided for in this configuration when the suspension is forced down over bumps which is desirable. |
