The chain tensioner is made from two sizes of square tube. The butt end of the smaller internal tube is capped. The outside tube has a 3/4 inch nut welded onto the end through which a threaded bolt is used to move the tensioner forward to adjust the chain. This system works very well and is easy to make. The chain drive system uses a number 40 heavy duty roller chain. |
