Hood Scoop Seals For Sale
Look no more for those nearly impossible to find hood scoop rubber trim rings/seals that came with Dart Swingers, Demon's, Dusters, Superbee's and other 1970's Mopar muscle cars. These are a set of two reproduction type hood scoop seal trim rings that I think are far superior to the originals. These replacement rubber trim rings look great and fit like a glove. I have sold these at swap meets and on eBay and restoration buffs are very pleased with the look and fit with many commenting that they are "much better than OEM".
These rubber rings are slightly deeper than the originals but have a much tighter fit so they don't fall out in the wind! Factory rings were made of soft and flimsy foam type of material whereas these are much more durable rubber. When these rings are inserted into the standard 4 1/8 inch hood scoop opening hole, the smaller end fits through the hole and with a hard pull, it snaps right into place leaving a clean raised edge top and bottom. These seals were intended to keep rain and car wash water out of the engine bay and provide a finished look.
