Oi minna-san! I know many of you proably won't like this story a whole lot. I'm writing it for myself. I finally saw the entire 'Stars' series and, much to my chagrin, I like Seiya a whole lot more than Mamoru. (Look later for my review on Ai-kon 2001.) I think he likes Usagi much more than the masked superhero. He had to be pretty brave to except that she was going to be with Mamoru. And to just walk away from them and tell him to protect her, that some guy said it. (You'd get what I'm talking about if you saw episode 200.) So, this is where this story comes into play. *This is not a Mamoru/Usagi love story.* This will probably be the only one of mine that isn't, but this one has to be written for my sanity's sake. *This is a -Seiya/Usagi- fanfic.* Please enjoy, I know I will finally writing it. Also, my other fanfics will also keep being written, eventually, but for now, I'll concentrate on this one. (The other ones will keep being Usa/Mamo fics too, so don't worry.) This was completed -> 11:21 PM 27/07/01 ~*~*~ = Flashback The Starlights think of themselves as male, but are addressed as females. You all know that Seiya is a man on Earth, so this is not eechi. WARNING: THIS FIC IS SPOILER INTENSIVE! ** Disclaimers = I don't own any of the characters in this fanfic. Most are owned by Takeuchi Naoko, Toei, TV Asahi, Koudansha, and plenty others. Don't sue. This fanfic is copywrite MinaP Aino, 2001. ** ***** I Want to Go Back to That Day ************** Well, they had done it. Chaos had gone back to the place where it belonged and Galaxia was freed from it's clutches. Princess Kakyuu returned to the Starlights and now they were all here. Back on Kinmokusei. With everyone waiting for them. A crowd cheered as the 4 stood before them. Their eyes shinning with tears as the crimson haired princess raised her head and told them the joyeus news. "Minna-sama! Kinmoku is finally free!" her arms were in the air as cries of happiness rang out through the small kingdom. The 3 guardians smiled to eachother. This was what they had been fighting for. Peace umong the galaxy and to enjoy life with their princess once again. A light breeze blew their long hair that was tied back into ponytails. They stood behind Kakyuu, who's laugh was filling the now calm air. She was letting tears slide down her flushed cheeks. Under her feet were stones that had fallen from the palace. All around her were signs of destruction. But she didn't care. The nightmare was over once and for all. She looked down to her subjects. There were tiny children on their parent's shoulders who were rejoicing. Their shouts and yells being heard as equals umong the people who surrounded them. The fragent smell of olive flowers filled the ruins as the wind brought the scent of the princess to the survivors. Her dress seemed to float around her ankles, she was so light-headed with cheerfulness. She had new hope for the future now. *********************************************** The survivors had begun to rebuild for the first time since the attack. The castle was restored in all it's glory. Sparkling ceilings, marble floors, it was a replica of before. Kakyuu was sitting on her throne, in the main hall. She quietly raised out of her seat and in a clear voice, called out. "Starlights!" One by one, the senshi of the princess appeared. Sailor Star Healer with her glittering green eyes, Sailor Star Maker with her brown flowing hair, and Sailor Star Fighter with her strong will. They all bowed in her presence. She giggled at their formality. "Rise! I just wanted to congradulate you three." As they stood back in an upright position, Healer's eyebrow raised. "For what?" she asked innocently. "For saving our galaxy and home. You protected it and for that, I thank-you." she smiled. "With all due respect, princess," Fighter began as she lowered her eyes, "It was Sailor Moon who saved the galaxy from Chaos." Kakyuu walked over and put a gentle hand on the soldier's head. Fighter looked up and met the gaze of the woman. "But you protected her, so that the Princess Serenity *could* save the galaxy." She once again looked down as wet tears slipped down her face. "Odango.." ~*~*~ Galaxia's possessed body floated across from Serenity. She was no longer herself. Chaos had overcome her mind and heart. She clutched a sword in her hand as she spoke to her opponent. "All of your friends disappeared." That didn't seem to trouble the angel at all. She just stayed in the same spot. Her ivory wings out to the side of her, and the ginzuishou on her chest. "No they haven't. The Star Lights taught me. As long as I don't give up, they are always by my side. If there is a time when they disappear, it will be when I give up. So, I'm not going to give up." ~*~*~ "Fighter? Are you alright?" Kakyuu softy whispered in concern. The dark haired senshi realized what she had been doing and whiped away a tear. Her eyes were still red. "Yeah, just remembering the fight." ~*~*~ Galaxia drew her sword and released her energy at Sailor Moon. "With a glitter that is only as strong as that, you won't be able to light up the galaxy." The girl wouldn't give up. She only kept trying. She called out with all of her confidence in herself. "I'll light it up. I'll save this world." ~*~*~ Star Healer and Maker stood away from the two. Their mouths were slightly parted as they remembered it themselves. The short light whispered into Maker's ear. "Odango? She must be thinking about her again." She nodded. "Seiya really misses her." ~*~*~ Sailor Moon reached the senshi of destruction dressed in black and red. Her sword shattered and a warm light flooded around them. Starseeds rose out of their hiding for the first time since they were taken. Galaxia was herself again, because of the girl's loving heart. "I can see it Sailor Moon, your glitter. The warm and gentle light." ~*~*~ Princess Kakyuu's lips curved up slightly. She kissed her lightly on the cheek. Fighter slowly smiled and raised her hand there. Sadness was still in her eyes. "For our greatfullness, I will give you all a token our appresiation." "What are you talking about?" Maker was very curious. "A wish. Anything you desire, you can wish for. And it will come true." she replied sweetly. The robed girl brought her hands together and a faint light was emitted. It's intensity quickly multiplied as the power increased. The Starlight's eyes were intently watching to see what was happening. Star Fighter's hand was still up to her face, a slight blush growing. Her eyes widened as she understood. "A wish..." she repeated silently. The room was illuminated in a shower of pure light as Kakyuu opened her palms. Three balls of white fire flew up to the sky and started shimmering in the night. They were powerful and loving as they glowed softly. Just like the senshi beneath them. Because they were made of the same thing. Starlight. "When you make that wish, they will fall from the sky and become shooting stars. They'll lead you to your dream." Kakyuu explained. Healer smiled at these words. ~*~*~ "Realizing your dream is the most important thing!" exclaimed Minako. She was competing in an idol audition, because that was her dream. ~*~*~ "Now go think about what you're gonna wish for!" the Princess laughed, "You've got a big day ahead of you tomorrow!" The three leather-clad senshi then filed out of the room. Healer was jumping for joy and tugging on Maker's glove. "What are you gonna wish for?" "Well.." Maker did continue, but Fighter didn't hear... she was too busy thinking about someone.. *************************************************** Later that night, Fighter shot up in bed. Her sheets were on the floor, kicked off early in the evening. Sweat was running down her face, as she ran her hand through her messy dark hair. "That dream...it was so real tonight.." she breathed, walking over to her balcany. Parting the light fabric curtains, she stepped outside. A blue star was visible in the distance. But, to her it was much more than just light in the sky. In fact, it wasn't even a star at all. It was a small, rural planet. Earth. "Odango...I just can't forget about you, I want to be with you..." she wimpered. Her head faultered as she let her heart take control. She cried out for there to be some sort of way for her to see Usagi again, and she thought about her recurring dream. ~*~*~ Seiya stood at the top of the school building, in front of everyone, with the princess and his fellow Starlights. His gaze drifted to Usagi. She looked so happy with all of her friends back. "Odango, it's great that your boyfriend returned." Usagi smiled and answered him. "It's because of you. Because of you I was able to do my best." Tears were filling his eyes. "Odango, I won't forget you." "Yes, we're friends forever." With those words, he finally had to turn away. It hurt him more than anything that they were *just friends*. He walked away. ~*~*~ She looked up and gasped. Why didn't she think of that sooner? She turned her back once more, and walked back to bed. Before she shut her sparkling eyes, she whispered a message to the stars. She prayed that that one important person in the galaxy would hear her. "Odango, I'll be with you soon." Princess Kakyuu was right. She would have a big day ahead of her. ****************************************************** "What are you doing?" Star Healer asked impatiently. Sailor Star Fighter had called them to the main hall, wanting to tell them something. She was brimming with excitment, but no matter how many times they asked her questions, she would just laugh and say, "You'll see." The sun was just rising and coming up the horizon. Things were looking much brighter today. Especially for the dark haired Light. Princess Kakyuu and Sailor Star Maker entered the room. The girls were still yawning, and wipping their eyes' with their fists. Fighter had wanted a good early start on what she was going to do. "Great! Now that you're all here, I can make my announcment!" Fighter was practically jumping up and down. "What is it?" Kakyuu asked. "My wish! I'm going to make my wish!" She brought her hands up to the sky, and touched a star. Bringing it down with her gently, she twirled around. The star was levitating in her hands. "I'm going to be with Odango!" They all gasped. "Se..Serenity? You're going to be with the Princess of the Moon?" Kakyuu was surprised beyond belief. "Are you daft!? She has Mamoru! She'll never love you the way she loves him!" Healer yelled out. "I know..." she said with disappointment, but continued on proudly "..That's why I'm going to the past!" "The past!? You'll change the future!" "Yeah! Then *I'll* be Odango's boyfriend!" They kept on making excuses, but the truth was that they just didn't want her to go. They had been together too long for it to end now. She wasn't just their parnter, she was their friend. Maker and Healer wouldn't stop trying to convince her otherwise; that this was a very bad idea. Finally, the until now, quiet Princess Kakyuu spoke up in a small voice. "Will this make you happy? Is this your true dream?" she looked as if she was ready to cry. "Yeah." Fighter said with hope. "Then be careful. I'll miss you." she said. "As will I." Maker and Healer whipped around. "You're going to let him do this!?" They seemed on the edge of sanity. She smiled sadly. "I can't get in the way of her dream. I'll have to let you all go someday. She just happened to be a little sooner." They looked back at Sailor Star Fighter. "Well, I guess you're really going then." They held back their own tears in a silent moment. Healer broke the calm feelings. "I'll miss you, brother!" She lept forward and into Fighter's waiting arms. "Yaten.." ~*~*~ "Oh, Seiya, you're such an idiot." The silver haired light sighed in the appartment that they used to rent. ~*~*~ "I'll never forget you, Seiya.." Maker ran forward and hugged her too. "Taiki.." ~*~*~ "The truth is.." Seiya began on stage at a Three Lights concert. But then Taiki came running on stage. "...Taiki takes too long when using the washroom." "Ya know, you could have said something more whitty to save my reputation." he laughed. ~*~*~ "Good luck!" Kakyuu jumped into the hug as well, the tears were flowing from everyone's eyes. "Princess.." ~*~*~ "Princess!" Star Fighter cried out as she appeared in the sky, holding an unconscious Usagi in her arms. "You're finally here!" ~*~*~ The star in her hand was slowly going back up to the heavens. The 4 parted. The two remaining Sailor Star Lights and Princess Kakyuu were standing in front of the dark haired Light. "Now.." Kakyuu intructed, "Concentrate on your dream." Fighter closed her eyes. ~*~*~ Usagi and Seiya were standing alone in his dressing room, right before his last concert. "Seiya, I'm sorry." she looked at him sympatheticly. "You don't have to apologize. I just wish I could have met you first." ~*~*~ The star glowed brighter than ever before and she started to, also. With her eyes still closed, she said. "My wish is to go to the past and be with Tsukino Usagi before she met Chiba Mamoru." The star seemed to have peeked with energy. It exploded in light, as it started falling from the sky. Sailor Star Fighter slowly was disappearing. She turned her head back and smiled, right before she was gone with the shooting star to Earth. Healer sniffed as another tear escaped her eye. "Good-bye, Kou Seiya. May you find happiness." **********
