George R. Kynman, Cartoonist - Writer - Artist

The 'Tire Changer" was inspired from an antique automotive mascot. Common in the 1920s and 1930s, the automotive mascot was a  piece of artwork that came to be identified with a particular manufacturer.  Highly prized by auto restorers and collectors, they represent an era when autos were truly rolling sculptures.
