Introduction

For the past 20 years, George Kynman has been working in the shadowy realm that is is "Canadian Publishing" . His work has appeared in magazines, newspapers, newsletters and on various national and provincial radio programs of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

A trained Journalist and Biologist, George is still and editorial writer with a focus on things environmental. He has been a communications consultant for over a decade and has lent his expertise to various environment based committees.

For some, it comes as no surprise that George's cartooning career was a result of a short attention span. Sitting in meetings, he rapidly lost interest and began doodling. George's observations of topical issues soon surfaced in cartoons under the titles of by George and Syd . George provides a uniquely Canadian view of the world to a variety of print publications. All of which he sells to publications on a freelance basis.

George also dabbles in other artistic expression including photography, carving and sculpture, furniture building and automobile restoration.
