MAYHEM! A multi-player scenario with multiple objectives Mayhem! by Bill Acheson (Baltimore MD) Our club played this at our last meeting and it was a blast. The referee gave each player (there was about a dozen of us) a card with an objective on it, mine was to steal the cattle. Others were to kill so-and-so because he was fooling around with the character's wife. Three of the players were outlaw brothers, and they had to rob the bank, but one of them (the youngest brother)had a secondary objective, he had to see that his older brothers were killed so he could become the gang leader. Each of us started with our main character and 3 other gang-members/posse/deputies/etc. My main character was one of only two Legends in the game. Needless to say, I headed straight for the cattle pens, but the cattle's owner also set up nearby and he got the drop on me. I was able to get into the pen, and I wanted to stampede the cattle out, but only a couple of them left. One of the cattle owner's men was straight out from the pen's gate, and I was hoping that the cattle would run him over, but no, the referee decided to have the cattle moved randomly once they got out of the pen. To make a sad story short, all my guys were killed. My Legend was jumped by two guys in the cattle pen, and was knocked down. But he still fought on, and wounded both of them before they finally bludgeoned me to death. "and a good time was had by all..."
