A straightforward set of rules for triggernometry, bloodshed & mayhem in the Old West, also suited to the American Civil War & various struggles south of the border down Mexico way.

eM-4 prepainted old west miniature Lately we've been playing a lot of TRWNN, and it's a real hoot! It seems that everybody loves a shoot-out, including wives, girlfriends, and non-gamers. We've come up with some alternate rules suggestions, and I'm posting them here, along with some scenario suggestions.

Due to demand, I have posted the rules on-line so you can read them.

Charts

As a bonus for non-IBM users who got the rules in .txt form, I have the charts posted here so they can set theirs up right.

There are interesting alternate rules in Freikorps: Horse & Musket Skirmish rules. If you have these in text form, their charts are here. If you don't have these rules, just ask.

Game Card File

My wife Patricia found a cheaper alternative to the Avery pre-punched business cards for the game cards at our local STAPLES. 'Geographics' produces blank pre-punched business cards in packages of 350 10/sheet, 35 sheets. (Canadian price 6.95 vs 15.00 for 250 Avery.) I bought the cream & white, and they work beautifully. (This program is designed to work with WP7 to make Skill and Fate cards for the rules, but is quite useless with other programs.)

Since this page has been ben growing and growing, I have split it up into several pages:
