This unit was originally to be used for a car cigarette lighter socket, and connected to a 6 V. portable tape recorder with an input power jack. However, it can power any device requiring 6 V DC at 1.2 A.  The DCA-6 is factory-set to operate in a "negative ground" battery system.
It contains a light-emitting diode to show when power is applied to the converter.
This unit comes with 2 spare fuses, and with 2 strips of VELCRO ^(Reg'd) hook and loop fastener. Each strip consists of 2 mating tapes, and can be used to install the converter box to the dashboard of your car (and allows for easy removal and refastening of the converter).
