"Generation", The National Anglican Youth website.
Toronto, April 23, 2006 -- Generation is a new kind of website, designed from the ground up for young Canadian Anglicans.
Look for blogs, coming events in all parts of the country, interactive features, polls, scripture reflections, creative expressions and more.
The site will include a number of blogs, or web logs, from young people from across Canada. It will also include a blog from the Primate with weekly entries, a first for the Anglican Communion.
This isn't a site full of content that adults think young people should read; this is a site full of content that young Anglicans will generate themselves. Any young person or any adult concerned with youth issues can register on the site and contribute to it. The content of the site is continually renewed, so there are always new things to read and comment on.
You are welcome to comment on someone else's blog, including the Primate's; you can add a thought in response to a Question of the Week or start a discussion forum, connect with other young people in all parts of the country, look for events or advertise events in your region. You can post resources or request ideas for something you need. There will be lots more to check out.
The site is intended for Anglican young people, age 14 and over and those who minister with them.
The site can be found at generation.anglican.ca
Questions on the site can be directed to Judy Steers, Coordinator - Youth Initiatives, at
jsteers@national.anglican.ca
If you have any comments to make,
feedback with other news, updates of your information for church records,
please give these to your Tele-Pal when she/he calls.
AS MEN OF OLD FOLLOWED THE STAR,
To all who care, draw near and teach to
Every home within our reach:
Love warms all hearts,
Even those grown cold.
Pals are the link,
And close the gaps
Left by loneliness and grief.
PARKING: On the west parking lot, there are TWO SPOTS marked for ORGANISTS ONLY.
Please do not park in these or the CLERGY spots.

BUT DUE TO THE DEMOLITION WORK BEING DONE ON THIS PROPERTY, permission has now
been rescinded.
DJ's Restaurant is once again open for business, and solicits your visits.

PARISH EVENTS:
TWO-BIRD DINNERS: Previously, every second Sunday of each month, Lynne Gould would take names from people
wishing to host, or be a guest, in our Two-Bird Dinner project. We were holding these dinners on an
ongoing basis over the year, rather than just over one or two weekends in early Spring, to give every
parishioner a better chance to be part of this project.
UPDATE: In order to stimulate more interest in this project,
Vestry is discussing a possible startup in a new format.
Watch for further news in an upcoming CHIMES newsletter - or on this webpage.
