NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the parishioners of the Parish of St. Chad
will be held immediately following the 11:00 a.m. service on the 24th day of February, A.D. 2008,
at which time and place all members signing the Declaration of Church Membership and who are of the full age of 16 years are entitled to attend and to vote.

There will be a Potluck Luncheon.

Business will be ELECTIONS for Synod Delegates and Representatives for the A.C.C. Board.
Nominating Committee Members are:  Brant Jackson, Audrey Kelly, John Pittman and Gordon Shields.
You may be contacted to see if you will let your name stand, OR
you may contact any member of the Nominating Committee and offer your name or the name of any other person; you must have their permission to let their name stand.


DUTIES OF SYNOD DELEGATES AND A.C.C. BOARD MEMBERS:

VESTRY MEMBERS and SYNOD DELEGATES
The current term is five years if they so choose to serve that period of time.
Synod Delegates are ex-officio members of Vestry.

WHAT DO WE DO and WHEN?
Vestry meets approximately eight to ten times a year. The business of the Parish is reviewed; finances, the activity of groups is reported on, and action taken. Vestry members report on the group to which they belong. Upcoming events are scheduled, and reported on when past.

Synod Delegates are required to attend Diocesan Synods that are held every two years over a weekend. They then present a report of the Synod to the Parish at an 11:00 a.m. service.  In between Synods, Diocesan affairs are reported to delegates who then report to Vestry.

A.C.C. Board members represent the Parish of St. Chad. The Board is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and staff of the Assiniboia Christian Centre.
