Wildlife is still in abundance with millions of Canada Geese and many varieties of Ducks making Manitoba their Home in the Summer. Deer, Moose and Cariboo are plenty and Buffalos are making their return. Brown and Black Bears, Coyotes and some Wolfes make their appearance during the long Winter Months. The Climate is severe with two months, January and February the most, with Temperatures often dipping to the -30 Degrees. The cold is dry and easier on People then -20 Degrees in the damper Eastern Climate. The Summers are beautiful and warm and timely Rains often produce very good Crops. Due to the shorter Summer Season, most Crops can only be grown once, however, Fall Crops like Rye and Winter Wheat are coming on very strong. Virtually any Crop can be grown on the large Farms in Manitoba, Vegetables, Berries, Potatoes and other Fruits as well.
