· The Fort Rouge CC annual Kid’s Christmas Party will be held on Saturday December 5th, from 10 AM to noon. There will be a magic show, hot dogs, donuts , pop and of course a visit from Santa himself !! This event is open to children 12 and under whose parents or grandparents curl at FRCC, including staff as well. Sign up forms can be found by the Men’s board. For info, call Bruce @ 471-8885.

· The Coors Light Christmas Open will take place at FRCC from December 26th to 30th. We are an original member of the Manitoba Curling Tour. This is an open event, welcoming Men’s, Women’s and Mixed teams. The “beer and pizza” spiel as it is sometimes called, is always a fun event with good competition. We have reduced the entry fee in half to $200 per team to try to encourage the many club teams who would like to play but have shied away due to the cost. We are hoping for 32 teams this year. · Congrats to the Shauna Streich Rouge team that just won a berth into the MB Scotties via the berth spiel in Morden. Well done !!

· The Manitoba Lotteries Women’s Classic was a huge success with great competition and fun times. This may well have been the best one yet ! For results details, please click here and for a synopsis, please view the new Rouge News by clicking the icon to the left.
