Andrew is a non-practicing Lawyer and training specialist. In addition to his role as President of Forefront, Andrew is a partner in Precursor Productions,  Canada's leading school of digital music and multimedia sound design. Andrew has worked as training specialist for over 8 years. In that time, he has taught seminars/classes, developed curricula and devised custom training programs for large corporations and educational institutions. His past clients include: The Department of National Defence, Standard Aero, Motor Coach industries, The North West Company and Red River College.

Andrew has expertise in law, training and business. His unique experience informs every aspect of his work at Forefront. He constantly revises and improves Forefront's LSAT course delivery and materials, to ensure that they always maintain the highest standard of quality. Andrew applies his many years of speaking at seminars, classes and committees to create an LSAT presentation that is both entertaining and incisive.

History

Forefront Education Inc. was established in 1999 by Andrew Yankiwski. At that time Andrew was a non-practicing lawyer providing consulting services to large organizations and educational institutions with his own firm, Forefront Education for Business.

Andrew perceived that there was a significant gap between the available LSAT preparation courses/materials and the demand for high quality training in the market. Over the previous 10 years, a great number of LSAT preparation courses and materials had become available in the marketplace. While these provided a student with a great number of preparation options, none of these services and materials addressed LSAT training in a straightforward, efficient and comprehensive manner. There was almost no correlation between the cost of a given LSAT product/service, and the utility of that product/service to the student. The time was right for a pragmatic curriculum that focused on methodology and gave students realistic career guidance about the field of law.

Forefront Education Inc. was created to address the need for high quality LSAT training at a fair cost to the student. Forefront began to offer courses in the Sullivan McMullan law firm boardroom. Classes were full from the time of the initial offering, and have remained so until this day. Over the last several years Forefront Education has expanded to a Canada-wide LSAT preparation service. Hundreds of students have benefited from the strategies and advice they gained in the Forefront LSAT course. Dozens are enrolled in law schools across Canada, while many others have already entered the practice of law.
