Thursday: 10:30 a.m. FLCW Bus Trip to Betel Care Home, Gimli.

Sunday:  May 11 10:30 a.m. Day of Pentecost  - Confirmation Sunday

First Lutheran Church Women Auxiliary (FLCWA) will meet after worship today in the Lower Auditorium.  This newly formed group is for all women in the congregation who are unable to attend weekday meetings of the FLCW.

FLCW annual bus trip to visit the residents of Betel Care Home in Gimli will be this Thursday May 8.  The bus will pick up at Betelstadur at 10:15 a.m., at the church at 10:30 a.m. and leave Gimli at 3:00 p.m.  Cost of the bus trip is $10.  To reserve a seat Betelstadur residents may contact Herdis Maddin; others please contact MArilyn MacKay.

FLCW will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday May 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Please bring a bag lunch.

THEOLOGY ON TAP, an informal and open discussion group on religious matters for those in their 20's and 30's (or recently in their 30's), will meet on Tuesday May 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Finn McCues at the Forks.

A meeting of the congregation of First Lutheran Church will be held on Sunday May 25, 2008 at 12:00 noon to discuss Sanctuary renovations.

Book Club will meet at 124 Invermere St. on Monday  May 26 to discuss My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult.
