FLC Youth Group will
have a fund-raising chili lunch after worship on November 15. Funds raised
will go towards the youth gathering in London, Ontario next
summer.
Church
Council will be hosting a Christmas
Carnival from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday December 5 at the church.
Games, Ice Cream Sundaes, a super silent auction, and cake walk are just a few
of the surprises planned. We hope that everyone can come out to this
afternoon of good fun, fundraising, and fellowship.
If you are interested in becoming a member of
First Lutheran Church, please speak to Pastor Michael by November 15.
New members will be received the First Sunday in
Advent, November 29.
If you are knitting toques
for our Hats for the Homeless project, please give the toques
to Irene Halgrimson or turn them in to the church office by November
