Fred Ralke

Fred started flying in 2005 at the age of 72 years. He started with a small electric park flyer by Parkzone.

 

Fred is slowly getting more involved in the sport. Golf has taken up most of his time in past years. An avid builder Fred is busy this winter with his 1/8 th scale DHC 2 Beaver. It has a 72” wing span and will be powered by a 60 size glow motor. He hopes to have it completed and ready to fly by spring.

 


Fred has just finished refurbishing a Trainer which also has a 72" wing span and is also powered by a 60 size glow engine. It still requires some setting up before its maiden flight. Fred hopes to spend more time at the flying field this summer and is looking forward to his solo flight.
