 Our trip to Europe:
In April, 2000, Erica and Wayne went on a trip to
Europe. We had four wonderful weeks visiting Erica's sister and several friends as well as touring through many senic European places.Our first email home went like this: Hello everyone,We are in Germany, now, after an extended adventure (that is the positive term for it). After being delayed in Winnipeg for 45
min. due to bad weather in Toronto, we missed our flight to London so we needed to get the next flight which was 2:45 hours later, which also ended up being late. So we finally
arrived in London 3:30 hours late. So we missed our train to Brussels and ended up geting one that was 4 hours later than originally planned (do you sense a theme here - later and
later). Of course by the time we reached Köln we had missed the last train to Lage, so after a couple of short overnight train rides and several waits in train stations we finally got to Lage
at 06:00 am, 10 hours late -(remember that we started out 45 mins. late)! But it was fun??? We are doing good and hope that all is well with everyone. We
are having a good visit with Laura & Arnold & Nicole & Anne. We hope to travel to Holland on Monday and then some more sightseeing in Germany later in the week and then be in Switzerland for next weekend.
