We are in Germany!

On our first visit (of 3) to Germany we spent most of our time around where Laura and Arnold lived and went a few places with them.

Freilichtmuseum Detmold

We went to an outdoor museum near Detmold on Sunday afternoon with Laura, Arnold, Nicole & Anne. It had villages that showed how German farmers used to live. The houses had been disassembled and brought to the museum from all over Germany and then they were reassembled at the museum, so they would look authentic.

 We forgot to bring a stroller for Anne, so she got to switch from one arm to the next, we carried her for about 2 hours. Nicole held out well walking with us, but at the end she said (in german) "ich bin so müde geworden!= ( I got so tired!)
