Looking to move a piano? Locally we recommend and refer piano owner clients to EZEE Movers, whether for grand pianos or uprights. We highly recommend that you consider a professional mover rather than attempting to move these heavy instruments yourself. You need the proper equipment and manpower to do the job; without it there's the danger of serious personal injury, or damage to the instrument or damage to the home. The money you thought to save by doing it yourself can very quickly evaporate into a costly effort with regrets.
How does one find a competent piano technician? Locate a Registered Piano Technician! The designation "RPT" identifies a Registered Piano Technician, signified by the letters RPT.
Home page of the Canadian Association of Piano Technicians. Click here for the member technician page; eventually there will be a technician search feature available, but at the time of this writing that link is not available.Only technicians who have successfully completed the certification examinations with their respective organization(s) -- PTG, The American Piano Technicians' Guild, or CAPT, the Canadian Association of Piano Technicians -- have the right to utilize the designation "RPT". A technician with this endorsement has passed qualifying examinations involving hands-on testing to demonstrate a minimum level of competency in technical knowledge, tuning ability, and basic repairs and adjustments.
This is a project to erect a plaque to honor those persons who were buried in what is currently an unmarked cemetery at the former village site of Kronsfeld, near Haskett, Manitoba, CANADA. Unfortunately, the gravestones the cemetery did contain at one time were for unknown reasons relocated to another cemetery. We are not aware of records that can identify individual graves, hence the project to erect a plaque to record the names. Click here for more information...
