Kronsfeld Cemetery Committee Meeting was held 7 PM, March 3, 2008 at Art Warkentine's home, 104 Poplar Bay, Winkler MB

Present: Art Warkentine, Ernest Unrau, Alan Warkentin

Absent: George B. Elias (the meeting was called on short notice and George lives in Winnipeg)

Financial statement reviewed. At present the balance is $1741.16

It was agreed to call a General Kronsfeld Cemetery Project meeting on Saturday March 29, 2008 at 1:30 PM at the Triangle Oasis Restaurant in Winkler, located at the junction of Hwy # 32 & # 14. People who have shown an interest in the project will be invited. A list of 20 names was read.

A PowerPoint was previewed, and it was agreed that it would be shown at the general meeting. It gives information on the history of Kronsfeld and its former residents, and also the details of the proposed cemetery project.

Four Cemetery Monument places were approached for quotes, and the quotes ranged from $3500 to $5000, with many different options available.

Report on Caveat information was given. The cost of a caveat could be a minimum of $400. If enough funds were raised, that could be pursued.
