NOTES:

Cornelius Warkentin, bapt. 28 Jun 1888. See SGB U248. Date of death as May 4, 1901 is inscribed on the headstone now located in Winkler Cemetery. Jacob Knelsen records date of death for Cornelius as May 4, but in another location appears to record May 2. Actual date of death is May 16, 1901 by civic records. Therefore the headstone has an incorrect Julian date of May 4, but should really have been May 2 by the Julian calendar. See notes regarding historical dates.
