Peter Warkentin (Sr.): Vital statistics records date of death as 26 Mar 1901. Jacob Knelsen and Grandma CD record death as 25 May 1901.
Katharina Krahn (married Peter Warkentin, above) was born 04 April 1860 by the Julian calendar. Date listed above is the Gregorian calendar date. She was born in Nieder-Chortitza, Chortitza, South Russia. Her tombstone is in the Winkler cemetery.
Child #1, Catharina: Vital Statistics records name as "Catharina" instead of "Katharina", thus first spelling was used for the Kronsfeld plaque.
Child #2, Jacob: Vital Statistics records name as "Jacob", rather than "Jakob", so the former spelling used on plaque. Vital Statistics records date of death as 11 May 1902 rather than 10 May 1902 as on Grandma CD.
Child #5, Helena: Prov. of Manitoba Notice of Marriage certificate #057296 records the marriage of Helena Warkentin, 24, born at Kronsfeld and married 08 Oct 1916 to Jacob Teichroeb, 22 years, born at Plum Coulee to Henry Teichroeb and Katherina Redekop (see also SGB 1A-251).
