Turf Club Rules
This information pertains to the following organizations:
- Manitoba Minor Football Association
- Winnipeg High School Football League
- University of Manitoba Bisons Football Program
- Winnipeg Touch Football League
- Football Manitoba
- Field Hockey Manitoba
- Midget Football League of Manitoba
- Manitoba Major Football League
- Winnipeg Rifles Junior Football Team
- Manitoba Senior Football League
- Kildonan East Collegiate
The use of our facilities requires your organization or group to comply fully with the turf rules as set out below and to accept financial responsibility for any violations or non-compliance.
The following list of rules and recommendations are forwarded for your use, observation and implementation. The East Side Eagles Football Club anticipates your cooperation with these rules. The manufacturer has stated that these recommendations and restrictions be applied to any use of the field and we pass them on to you in advance, so that you can made adjustments as may be required;
- Molded Rubber cleats are the only footwear allowed on the field. Soccer and baseball shoes are not allowed. Cleats of plastic, metal and “SCREW-INS” of any type that can “chip, burr or fracture” are not allowed.
- SUNFLOWER or pumpkin seeds (SPITS), chewing gum and chewing tobacco are not allowed on the Turf or the players' bench areas. Cleanup costs will be charged back to the offending organization. MINIMUM $100.00.
- Smoking on or around the turf is strictly prohibited. Offenders will be ejected from the facility.
- Lawn chairs of any kind are not allowed on the turf and shall be set back 3 feet from the edge of the field.
- Strollers and baby carriages will remain on the track.
- Carbonated and “Gatorade” type drinks are not allowed on the field or players' bench areas.
- Garbage is to be placed in the bench area containers.
- NO DOGS are allowed inside the perimeter fence as per By-Law.
- No bicycles allowed on the Turf. Put them in the bike racks.
